Kingston Rail Trail – Kingston, NY

This contract with Ulster County was for the construction of a parking lot and a 1.8 mile rail trail along the extinct O & W Rail Line in the City of Kingston, Town of Ulster & Town of Hurley. This contract included clearing and grubbing, installation of 17 culverts, installation of 3 bridges with abutments poured by Annandale Construction and pre stressed precast decks supplied by Jefferson concrete and installed by Arold, installation of 1,400’ of French drain, installation 5 park benches, 4,400’ of pedestrian fence installed by Anchor Fence of NY and construction & installation of a custom made kiosk. This Project was managed by Tom Petersen and Rian Baker. The Field Superintendent was Tom Petersen Jr. This project was valued at $3.2 million.
